Cabbage is considered beneficial for gums:

It stops phlegm from forming; it is considered one of the best vegetables for purifying blood. It is good for piles, pus and papules. The benefits of it increase when used in combination with ginger.

People in France use cabbage along with meat and in Russia its soup are consumed. People in Germany like to eat it with vinegar, they call it pickled. British eat a salad of cabbage dried fruits and apples. In fact all over the world cabbage is considered an important part of food. We will advise you not to forget this vegetable when choosing your food. Let’s talk about the benefits of cabbage and cauliflower. Their outlook is different but their medical benefits are almost similar. The leaves of cauliflower have second degree protein in them but they don’t have all the nutrients to meet the nutritional requirements for the body. They have more fibre and less nutrients. Cauliflower is called queen of vegetables because its white flowers are so pretty. Cabbage looks similar to cauliflower but it’s more like spinach (saag). It does not have a flower but has layers of leaves. The soft leaves take a shape of a ball. Cabbage is very delicious. German cabbage is very hard. This is a vegetable of Europe but is cultivated in our country as well. It is available in red and green color. Cauliflower has phosphorous, vitamin B and D. whereas in cabbage vitamin B, C and E along with minerals.  Cauliflower has also vitamin C which is beneficial for dental health. Cabbage causes gas in stomach. Cooking it with potato is not good for health. That’s why it should either be cooked with meat or alone and ginger should be added in it. Cabbage is considered beneficial for gums.
